Cobra™ Ultimate™ hoods are double ply and feature extra-long length that covers head, chest, shoulders and shoulder blades for enhanced protection. Flat-stitched seams eliminate bunching and won’t dig into skin. A half inch wide elastic face opening stretches to full 16" to ensure a snug fit around most SCBA masks.
Developed by PGI in the early 1980s, this mid-weight blend has become the most popular hood fabric in the market due to its ability to wick moisture away from the skin more effectively than other flame resistant fabrics keeping the wearer drier and more comfortable.
