Cobra Ultimate hoods are double ply and feature extra-long length that covers head, chest, shoulders and shoulder blades for enhanced protection. Flat-stitched seams eliminate bunching and won’t dig into skin. A half inch wide elastic face opening stretches to full 16" to ensure a snug fit around most SCBA masks.
A lightweight, high performance lining made from flame resistant Nomex® and Lenzing FR® fibers that deliver an exceptionally high TPP rating. Softer and more breathable, this liner is designed to keep the wearer cooler, drier and more comfortable.
PBI is an extraordinary fiber that doesn’t burn in air. Blended with Lenzing FR®, this fabric is the most comfortable flame resistant hood fabric on the market. Even though fabric is incredibly lightweight, the proprietary Comfort Plus Liner offers an exceptionally high TPP rating.
